Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

GeoHuman is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of published scholarly content.

The journal maintains regular backups of the OJS database, article metadata, PDF files, supplementary files, and editorial records. The publisher is responsible for ensuring secure storage and continuity of access.

GeoHuman will pursue recognized digital preservation services such as PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, institutional repositories, national repositories, or other trusted preservation systems where applicable. The journal will only claim participation in a preservation service after the service is active and verifiable.

Authors are encouraged to deposit published articles in institutional repositories, personal academic websites, or subject repositories, provided that the original publication in GeoHuman is properly cited and linked.
